Florence Design School was founded by an entrepreneurial project of the founding members of the LABA, a reality in constant and progressive growth from fifteen years in Florence. Florence Design School uses the same laboratories and equipment supplied to three-year degree courses students of LABA (Bachelor’s degree). Prof. Adriano Toccafondi

He believes in DESIGN as project essence more than shape. Extremely curious and often trying to involve people in new projects and define the concept of innovation in DESIGN. PROCESS and CO-DESIGN expert.

1- Control is not everything. Without creactivity a company destiny is a failure.
2- The real innovation is not in the message but in the mean.
3- The job process has to be flexible, but the tasks must be always well defined. The designer assumes responsabilities as a leader and a tasks connector.
Prof. Massimo Agus
Massimo Agus, photographer, photography professor, curator of exhibitions. After graduating in Architecture he devoted himself to photography, specializing in photography for theater. His work ranges from prose to dance, opera to street theater, from music to the artist’s portrait. He has worked with most of the Tuscan production centers and theater and dance companies. For fifteen years he was the official photographer for the festival of street theater Mercantia in Certaldo. His photographs have been published in major magazines in Italy and abroad, as well in books and articles related to theater. His work have been exhibited in New York, Florence, Moscow, San Petersbourg.
In addition to the professional and artistic work, he became involved in teaching. He taught History and Technique of Photography at the University of Siena (Arezzo); he now teaches photography at Studio Marangoni, the LABA in Florence, New York University in Florence. He conducts photography workshop of theater photography in Italy and abroad.
In 2004 he founded the Centro per la Fotografia dello Spettacolo, based in San Miniato, Pisa, and has been the artistic director of the Festival theater photography Occhi di Scena. From 2008 to 2011 he has been artistic director of the photo festival CiternaFotografia.
Prof. Cristina Cacioli
Hello I’m Cristina Cacioli. After studying architecture I started my experience as a Jewellery designer working as a freelance at major gold companies both nationally and internationally. I have participated in numerous national exhibitions (Vicenza and Arezzo) and International HK. LA. I was selected with 2 projects in the competition Premiere Vision trade fair in Arezzo.
I have collaborated in the Jewellery trend research and I joined several cool-hunters in the realization of Trend-book fashion. At the same time I started teaching at various schools and universities. I have held many seminars within the trends for both the jewels and fashion. I had my own column in the magazine Insidesign the Italian Goldsmith, with fashion and jewellery projects.

After graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence with the highest grades and become a member of Architect’s Chamber of Florence, collaborates with several design offices in Florence, dealing with architectural design, interior design, store design, exhibition design and set design.
Teaches Interior Design and Exhibition Design at LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti) and at Accademia Cappiello in Florence.
Deals with Photography and Painting in addition to his professional activities.
